About Me
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), EMDRIA Certified Therapist (2011) and Approved Consultant, ASCH-Certified Clinical Hypnosis practitioner, Expressive Arts Therapy specialist, Acudetox specialist, Parenting the Love and Logic Way® facilitator, and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200). Over the past 25+ years—including serving as Program Director for an inpatient substance abuse and mental health treatment center, counseling families at a domestic violence shelter, and leading my private practice in North Dallas—I have helped adults heal from complex trauma, anxiety, addiction, grief, and life transitions.

Rather than relying on talk therapy alone, I integrate bottom-up, nervous-system-informed and experiential modalities tailored to your pace and goals in North Dallas (6750 Hillcrest Plaza Drive, Suite 326, Dallas, TX 75230) and via telehealth across Texas and Colorado. • Somatic Experiencing (/somatic-experiencing) — Body-centered nervous system regulation with a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) without re-traumatization.
• Clinical Hypnosis (/clinical-hypnosis) — ASCH-certified clinical hypnosis for anxiety, trauma resourcing, habit change, and addiction recovery.
• Expressive Arts Therapy (/expressive-arts-therapy) — Creative, whole-brain experiential therapy for grief, attachment wounds, and moving past intellectual stuckness.

Supervision and Consultation
Congratulations and welcome to the counseling profession! As you search for supervision, you're about to embark on a journey of personal and professional growth in a field that is both challenging and deeply rewarding. Finding the right supervisor is a crucial step in this process. I recommend that LPC Associates interview several supervisors to ensure they find the best fit for their needs.
As a supervisor, I fulfill various roles during an internship, including teacher, guide, director, ethics investigator, collaborator, advocate, and eventually peer and colleague. My goal is not only to ensure compliance with ethical standards but also to foster your development. Together, we'll explore which populations you are best suited for, identify the modality you want to master, and find ways to help you grow and thrive in the field. I don't impose my counseling approach on you; instead, I encourage you to find your own voice and make your unique mark in the profession.
I seek LPC Associates who take the supervision process seriously, adhere to LPC ethical standards, arrive prepared for supervision, use their time wisely, and are committed to advancing their education through further trainings and certifications. At my practice, I do not hire LPC Associates directly but supervise those who are accruing hours at agencies or other practices. In addition, I offer EMDR consultation in person or telesession. I completed EMDRIA basic training in 2007 and was certified in 2011. I have consulted with EMDR practitioners for a variety of approaches including complex trauma, early childhood abuse, codependency, addictions, major anxiety disorders, severe depression, grief, art and expressive techniques, resource development approaches and much more.
Rates
$225 per 50-minute counseling session
$65 per group session
$125 for LPC Associate supervision
$4,000 total: Short-Term EMDR Intensive package. Includes a 90-minute intake, four 3-hour intensive sessions (one per week for a month), and a 60-minute follow-up 4 weeks later.
*Payment plans are available for intensives only and can be broken into weekly payments.
$2,700 total: Long-Term EMDR Intensive package. Includes two 4-hour intensive sessions and two 1-hour sessions.

$125 for EMDR consultation
$65 for group consultation or supervision
I do not accept insurance.
I will provide Superbill statements to submit to insurance companies for possible reimbursement. Please contact your insurance plan directly for accurate information.
